Capturing Precious Moments - Fancy World Studio

A new photo studio focusing on pregnancy, baby & family photography will be opened 10th April 2010. Fancy World Studio will be located at 15th Floor, 151 Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan.

Within the 1,500 sq ft studio area will be options of either plain backgrounds or backgrounds with Disney themes.

Prices range are HK$1,200 - HK$4,800, with packages such as framed photos, photo-books and CD-Rom.

Grand opening is scheduled for 10th April 2010.

For those of us who have a passion for cooking, this is the shop you must know about. Located in the heart of Sheung Wan, Kam Lee Steel Products & Engineering Ltd is a no-nonsense cookware store specialises in the supply of professional baking and cookware in metal, having years of experience in supplying to local restaurants and professional food making businesses.

Their Sheung Wan retail store stocks some great quality baking ware ranging from moulds for muffin, tartlet, cake, bread , baking trays, pots & pans, teapots and tea filters, cookie cutters, cake baking accessories, you name it they have it, all at very attractive wholesale prices. For example, funkimama managed to find round tartlet moulds in metal for HK$1 each!

For those of us concerned about the side effects of large scale commercial farming. Here is a web-site with a list of organic product stores/farms available in Hong Kong (yes, finally someone has taken the time to compile this list - thanks!). Whilst you can buy air flown-in products from the big chains, you can also choose to buy locally produced fresh items from local organic farms, it's entirely your choice. Healthy living specialty shop 新生農社

Funkimama has recently found potted fresh Thai Basil here in HK. Now she can just pick this sweet tasting herb from her own "garden" everytime she makes a Thai dish.

This great little shop called "Healthy Living Specialty Shop" is one of funkimama's found treasures. They stock a large variety of organic food fresh and dry fruits, vegetables & snacks, as well as potted herbs such as Rosemary, Mint and Basil. They have a choice of 3 different varieties for Basil alone. And the staff members are very friendly and with indepth knowledge of what their products are all about.

This store also operates for a very worthy cause: They provide shelter, training, rehabilitation and work for the mentally disabled persons. This motivates funkimama to purchase more from them as a way to supporting this worthy cause while benefiting from their freshly grown produce.
